Mr. Devine is a litigator with more than fifteen years of experience. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as in the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Devine began his career in 2001 as an Associate in the Pittsburgh office of Reed Smith, LLP where he focused on complex litigation with a particular emphasis on the defense of class actions arising out of the financial services industry. He joined Del Sole Cavanaugh Stroyd LLC, where he is now a partner, in 2003 to gain the court room experience required to fulfill his desire of transitioning from a litigator to a trial lawyer.

At Del Sole Cavanaugh Stroyd LLC, Mr. Devine has focused his practice on commercial litigation. He has handled a broad range of cases that span the spectrum of commercial disputes encountered by both individuals and companies in today's ever-changing business environment. Mr. Devine has devotes a substantial part of his practice to the representation of individuals who have been injured by the negligence of others.

In his more than fifteen years of practice, Mr. Devine has gained substantial experience in all facets of litigation and he has tried multiple cases to verdict in both the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania. His varied, practical experience has provided him with the insight required to provide his clients with sound, no-nonsense litigation strategies. In assisting his clients in meeting their litigation goals, Mr. Devine always strives to provide aggressive, but cost-effective, counsel.

Mr. Devine was chosen as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer - Rising Star in 2010. He has been chosen as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every years since 2015. Mr. Devine is a member of the Alleghney County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice.

In 2001, Mr. Devine obtained his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Duquesne University School of Law where he finished first in his class. He was the recipient of two full-tuition, academic scholarships in law school: the James P. McArdle Memorial Scholarship followed by the Dean's Scholarship for Excellence. Mr. Devine was also a member of the Duquese Law Review and served as its Executive Articles Editor between 2000 and 2001.

Mr. Devine graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history, summa cum laude, from Duquesne University in 1998. He was the recipient of two academic scholarship during his undergraduate studies: the Presidential Scholarship and the Ferry Scholarship. Mr. Devine was also a member of the Director's Circle and the Dean's List (all eight semesters) while an undergraduate.

Mr. Devine was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he currently resides with his wife and two children.
