Members of the firm have handled various pro bono publico matters including hearings on adoptions through agencies such as Adoption Legal Services, have volunteered their services helping the poor through Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh, and have served in various capacities on many community boards and activities including a federal advisory council on Child Nutrition, the Neighborhood Legal Services Association as a director, the Children's Museum as a director, a local zoning hearing board as its chair, a local school board as a director, one of the county's main political parties as a committeeman and its solicitor, a center for arts as the president of its board, a local hospital authority as its chair, college alumni council, regional college alumni associations performing as president, the Educational Policy and Issues Center as a director, the county bar association as a director, the state bar association as a delegate to its House, and more.
